We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Landscape Architect to join our Johor Bahru, Malaysia team immediately. This role is key to support our global design studio growth.
Position Overview:
The Senior Landscape Architect is responsible for designing innovative and sustainable landscape solutions, managing complex projects, and fostering strong client relationships. A critical focus of this position is to have an extensive experience in landscape architecture design consultancy, from concept design, through to design development, hardscape and softscape working drawings production and construction administration, ensuring the successful realization of design visions in the field. As a senior member of the team, the Senior Landscape Architect contributes to shaping the built environment while mentoring junior staff, managing projects of varying scales.
This is a full-time, onsite position based at LANDinc’s upcoming office in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Working hours will primarily align with the Singapore time, with flexibility required to coordinate occasionally with international teams. Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00PM.

What you will be doing:
- Lead or support the design and delivery of landscape architecture projects.
- Collaborate with teams in Canada and Singapore to develop creative, sustainable, and buildable solutions.
- Prepare design drawings, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Oversee project coordination, budgets, and schedules.
- Participate in construction administration, including reviewing drawings and site visits.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
- Engage with clients and support business development efforts.
- Assist with ad hoc requests.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 5+ years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) of professional experience.
- Strong design and technical skills, including construction documentation and site work.
- Proficiency in design and design software (Vectorworks/AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, Rhino, Lumion, SketchUp).
- Excellent communication (English) and presentation skills.
- Experience managing projects and mentoring team members.
- Eligibility for professional licensure is an asset.
