LANDinc is seeking a General Accountant & Office Administrator to join our expanding Manila team.

This is a full-time, onsite position based at LANDinc’s upcoming office in the Greater Manila Area, Philippines.


Working hours are: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Mon- Fri

Purpose of Position:
The General Accountant & Office Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the office through a combination of accounting, administrative, and HR support. This role works closely with the Director and serves as a key point of coordination across internal teams, external partners, and regional offices. The position ensures efficient office operations while providing reliable support to business and operational needs.

What You’ll Do
Accounting & Finance
  • Liaise with the Accounting department in Toronto and Singapore.
  • Manage the full accounting cycle to Trial Balance closing on a monthly basis including all reconciliations, accruals, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), invoicing and payment follow-ups.
  • Prepare and update monthly and annual financial reports, support consolidated reporting with regional offices.
  • Track expenses, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and manage reimbursements.
  • Ensure timely statutory payments and compliance with taxes.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Manage the treasury function to ensure positive cash flow and to ensure all Receivables are collected within a reasonable period.
Payroll & Compliance
  • Liaise with the Accounting department in Singapore and Toronto.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Handle statutory contributions and submissions of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, and relevant DOLE compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
Office Management
  • Oversee daily office operations, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure the office is well-organized, fully stocked, and operating efficiently.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, landlords, and building management.
  • Coordinate with vendors on office renovation as required.
  • Implement and maintain office policies, procedures, and systems.
Human Resources Support
  • Liaise with the HR department in Singapore and Toronto.
  • Manage and track employee leave, including vacation, sick leave, and other absences.
  • Monitor and maintain employee working hours, attendance, and timesheets.
  • Coordinate employee accommodation and workplace arrangements as needed.
Team & Operations Support
  • Act as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, and team activities.
  • Support onboarding logistics and employee experience initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional office environment.
  • Support ad hoc requests, including fundraising or business reporting needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director and management.
What You Bring
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting and administrative support or accounts roles (experience in design, architecture, or tech environments is an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of office operations, accounting processes, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Accounting/payroll software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting/payroll software.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal English required).
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
