We are seeking an experienced, seasoned and highly organized BIM Specialist for Landscape Architecture to support digital delivery and help advance BIM workflows across our landscape architecture projects.

Position Overview:
The BIM Specialist for Landscape Architecture plays a vital role in advancing BIM workflows across LANDinc’s landscape architecture portfolio. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Landscape BIM models from concept through construction, ensuring high-quality digital documentation and smooth collaboration with internal teams and external consultants. This role blends technical expertise with a passion for innovative, sustainable design.

What you will be doing:
  • Implement and maintain LANDinc’s BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
  • Support grading, planting, stormwater, and hardscape modeling processes.
  • Contribute to BIM Execution Plans and manage data exchange formats (e.g., IFC, DWG).
  • Produce and coordinate accurate 2D/3D landscape models and construction drawings.
  • Oversee model updates, quality control, file organization, and data management.
  • Ensure interoperability between Revit, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino, GIS, and other platforms.
  • Provide day-to-day BIM support, troubleshooting, and informal training for staff.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings with consultants.
  • Help build custom libraries, smart objects, and digital content to streamline documentation.
  • Support sustainable design by integrating plant databases, material specs, and other datasets.
  • Use model data for cut/fill analysis, takeoffs, reporting, and design optimization.
  • Assist with miscellaneous project needs.
What you bring along:
  • Degree/diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of BIM-focused technical or design support experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and/or Vectorworks Landmark (2025+ preferred).
  • Familiarity with BIM data structures (e.g., IFC) and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Skills with Adobe CS, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and other visualization tools are assets.
  • Assets include: Vectorworks Certification, GIS/LiDAR experience, public sector BIM knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset
  • Must have a quality portfolio to demonstrate technical illustration skill as cad drawings.
